MOR news // Final steps before Hungary

It's almost time for the MOR team to go to Hungary for the Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 competition starts. So what have we been up to the last few weeks? First of all, we built our prototype in Delft in order for the team to practice with building a super sustainably house of the future. Then we were able to show our prototype to our partners, the Mayor of Delft and our friends and family. The video below will explain the MOR concept and give you a sneak peek of the prototype!

In the prototype, we have an eye-catching feature: the green wall. During the summer the big sliding doors are opened to connect the indoor garden and the living area. The green wall also contributes to the air positivity of our project. The plants on the wall are able to purify the air in order to provide the residents with a healthy and fresh indoor climate!

The opening of the prototype was a big success and we are very proud of what we have achieved. In under two months, we constructed the prototype mainly with the students of the team. We are very grateful for the support we have received from our partners during the process.

Stay tuned for MOR news!
