MOR news // The finish line

The last day of construction was incredibly hectic, but we are happy to announce that we got approved by the organisation just within the deadline time! One of the organisers complemented us on our incredibly fast cleaning, between 22:00 and 23:00 heaven and earth were moved to completely clean our site and put the furniture inside. Unfortunately for the other teams, not everyone passed the check up in time.

MOR news // Challenges during assembly

To assemble a building in just 15 days is already a challenging task for 40 students with very little building experience. Add to this the theme of the Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 competition, renovation, and it starts getting a bit more complicated. However, we thought this challenge was not big enough yet, so we focussed on addressing issues faced currently by the Dutch Real estate sector.

MOR news // Let’s go

The team has travelled to Hungary to start assembling the prototype here. It all started on Sunday the 23rd of June when the team took the bus to travel to Hungary. By this means of travel, we saved over 50% on CO2 emissions, save the planet! The next few days we explored Budapest and our new hometown for the coming month, Szentendre. After that we start with the assembly of the prototype, curious what we got up to?

Then we were able to show our prototype to our partners, the Mayor of Delft and our friends and family. The video below will explain the MOR concept and give you a sneak peek of the prototype!
